Fun at the Franklin Bridal Ball
A couple of weeks ago Adornments participated in the yearly Franklin Bridal Ball, held right here in the Factory at Franklin!
It was a pretty busy day- but we had a great time meeting with local brides and their families!
Nashville area brides were out in force to check out the local wedding vendors and get ideas, and Adornments excels at unique ideas for those special finishing touches (if I do say so myself!). We had a great variety of hand made jewelry and invitations on display. As always brides are encouraged to discuss their ideas with us and work with our designers to create something unique just for them!
Toward the end of the evening the Bridal Ball put on a fashion show featuring our favorite local designer, Olia Zavozina and you know we had to get our jewelry on the catwalk too!! Handily enough, our booth was right next to Olia’s too.
Laura and Lucinda are both sporting custom fashion designs by Olia and doubled as models for the fashion show!! Need I mention the amazing jewelry we’re wearing? Check it out!!
Here are some shots from the fashion show.. why do models always look so cranky??
Keep an eye out for the above necklace in upcoming posts… it’s about to play a very special role!!
And because we can never take anything very seriously… our very own models striking poses:
At the end of the evening we raffled off a pair of hand made earrings (who doesn’t love free stuff?!).
Don’t forget- Adornments offered some great discounts to Bridal Ball attendees! So come visit us and let us design something special just for you!!
Laura & Jim : Sneak Peek!
Well all we can say is: Yaaaaaay!! Laura and Jim are officially married!
We’re waiting for the pics to get back but stay tuned because when we get them we’ll put up a full wedding review for your reading pleasure! In the meantime…
Also keep track of the Gray’s Blog for picture updates!
Adornments’ Wedding!
Hello All!
As you know, we’ve been planning a wedding for months now and it’s finally here! This Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 5:30 Laura and Jim will be tying that knot! In honor of this momentous occasion, Adornments will be closed on Saturday, October 3, 2009 (sorry guys! There’s still so much to do! You understand!) Don’t worry, there will be lots of fabulous pictures courtesy of the Grays of Gray Photography and we’ll post them as soon as we can to share all the pretties!
Wish us luck!
Adornments’ Grand Re-Opening
As the pictures show- this party was fantastic! The new, improved, more centralized location for Adornments in the Factory At Franklin is gorgeous! The art was beautiful, the jewelry dazzling, the invitations magnificent and the clothing stunning. Add to that a party atmosphere created by Margaret Tolbert of “Details by Margaret” event planning, delectable foods by “Busy Bees” catering, to-die-for chocolates from Schakolad in Cool Springs, fun games and even better prizes and you get a night that was an unabashed success!
Check out the pictures by Hartz Photography and Stan Dunlap and keep an eye out for a video of the event from Heather and Eugene Brown of 2Duce2 Videography!
Come one and all to enjoy the new and improved Adornments!
And we’re finally open!!
Lest you start to think that we’ve abandoned you all or succumbed to laziness due to our recent lack of postage…let me reassure you that we have not forgotten our loyal blog followers!! We’ve merely been trapped under heavy piles of lumber behind buckets of paint.. But we’re finally free again!!! So we invite you to view our journey from upstairs at the Factory at Franklin to our shiny, new location just off the commons area- DOWNSTAIRS (yes, still at the Factory)!!
So, just in case you for some unknown reason were unable to visit us previously, this is what the shop used to look like..
